"We are collecting the dots, without connecting them at all..."
We are living at the peak of the 3rd Industrial Revolution, which is usually referred to as the "Information Revolution". You can search online for literally anything that comes to your mind and you would have a plethora of information on it within minutes. But that's exactly the most dangerous side of this revolution.
Scholars have already started calling this "The Age of Mis-Information" rather than "The Age of Information". And in this age of (Mis)Information fueled by technology and the internet. Creating and consuming information (o content, as a lot of people call it) has never been easier. This has given rise to an Eco-system of millions of creators, Influencers, Journalists & Bloggers on social media, who use various ways to tell their stories. And 'Truth' is becoming the first casualty of this massive creation of content. Twitter outrage on News and Proocatie content that can never be verified or checked, is the order of the day as everyone has their own way of interpreting a piece of information. This onslaught of information, genuine or fake, has led to many battles brewing across the world. Some for truth, some fo privacy, some for freedom of expression, and frankly, for the most part, we don't even know which one we want to fight.
One such battle is about to be started by two small-town boys from Noida, who love watching & making youtube videos and one of them earns his livelihood working as a social media manager in an online agency. They form a part of what we call quintessential millennial generation and go by their lives thanking it's all about getting views, likes, and subscribers, until one day, when they discover the dark side of the moon. All they wanted was to earn a few bucks and become popular, but instead, they end up finding themselves at the epicenter of the battle for information.
