Two French teens hitchhiking around England. One last postcard home. Then nothing.
Three months ago.
Annabelle and Dorothée couldn’t wait to leave Paris for their summer of adventure, holidaying around the picturesque Staffordshire Moorlands.
Now.
Annabelle’s mother is besides herself with worry. Since their last postcard three months ago, she hasn’t heard from the girls.
She flies to England, desperate for Detective Joanna Piercy to find the missing teens.
Detective Piercy’s investigation take her to a lonely old B&B on the shores of Rudyard Lake — the last place Annabelle and Dorothée stayed before they disappeared.
The owner, anxious Mr Barker, seems like he’s hiding something. He maintains that Annabelle and Dorothée left weeks ago.
But if they’re in London, why are their bags still at the guesthouse?
Something isn’t right here. Detective Piercy must get to the bottom of things to find these missing teenagers. Before it’s too late.
