Reese Robertson’s life was in a pretty bad place even before he lost his job. Now an unemployed welder fresh out of trade school, he'll be job hunting between Thanksgiving and Christmas; timing that pretty much sucks.
With his parents’ house empty while they vacation in Hawaii, Reese heads to their place with all his earthly possessions stuffed in his car. But the bad luck continues: A winter storm, a collision with a herd of deer and his car skidding off the side of a country road. He shivers from the edge of a pond as he watches his car and all his stuff sink to the bottom.
With no money, ID, or transportation during the long Thanksgiving weekend, Reese has few options but to take advantage of the boxes of his sister’s clothes stored in his parents’ garage. The closest neighbor, Cindy, someone he's always had a crush on, is fine with his girl persona. In fact, she's willing to help him foster a feminine appearance and mannerisms.
A chance encounter with a friend of Reese’s mother results in a panicked phone call warning of all the damage his crossdressing would do to his reputation. Now Reese must find a way to balance his new relationship with Cindy and his mother's off-the-wall reaction.
Is this the beginning of an incredible new life, or is everything about to be wrecked?
