Under Scottish Skies continues the story from Oatcakes, Tea, and Me.
Seth Prescott is a hurting and lost man. Filled with guilt over his past, he’s searching for something—even though he doesn’t know what. So, when his friends Brian and Kirstine Grant invite him to Sea View Farm in Scotland, Seth takes them up on the offer.
There, he meets Alexander/Sandy Murray, Kirstine’s grandfather and a man whom Seth feels might understand some of what he’s going through. Sandy sees in Seth Prescott, a young man who has survived the battles of war and needs God in his life. He makes it his mission to mentor him and bring him to the Truth of the Gospel, much as another man once did for him. Seth also becomes acquainted with Audrey MacGregor, the daughter of a local fisherman who owns MacGregor’s Inn and Restaurant. Seth is instantly attracted to the young woman, but she is more than upfront with him that she won’t leave her beloved village.
Will Seth find the peace he’s so desperately searching for? And what of his feelings for Audrey? Is there a chance for them to have a relationship, or are they destined only to remain friends?
With Under Scottish Skies, we return to the west coast of Scotland and the little fishing village we grew to know through Book 1 in The Scotland Romance Series – Oatcakes, Tea, and Me.
