India Starr agrees to take place in a suspended animation experiment lasting one year but after three months he is inadvertently awoken by the staff overseeing the project and learns that he has somehow been changed into a woman.

After collecting her handsome check for participating in the experiment the company staff decides they need to keep her out of the way until they figure out what went wrong, and she ends up staying with a lab assistant named Marcy who instructs her on the basics of being a girl. The CEO of the company that conducted the cryo experiment, Christina Reed, stops by and asks her to attend a charity fundraiser with her. While at the event, India just happens to disarm a man who is ready to take out her date once and for all. When the press asks who is the person that saved her, Ms. Reed claims it was her bodyguard.

India Starr is suddenly all over the news and is frequently referred to by the media as the world’s greatest bodyguard, even though she is not. Approached by the staff of a down and out security company, they ask her to become the company figurehead as it will boost their business and they also offer her a full partnership. At first, she is hesitant but after they tell her she will never have to carry a gun and will never be in any real danger she agrees.

They quickly get their first client, Christina Reed, who tells them that the guy that tried to kill her has been released from jail and has sent her an email telling her that he plans to assassinate her, and the team goes to work immediately to keep her out of danger.

While protecting her client, India notices there is some chemistry between her and Christina. With this being her first love interest since becoming a woman she struggles to navigate her newfound feelings while trying to grasp the concept of being with a member of the same sex.

A standalone romantic comedy by Madison McCall with a HEA ending that you are sure to enjoy.
