His poetry is published in the US, Australia, Ireland, and Scotland and has featured for poetry events and podcasts in the US, Canada, England, Ireland, and Scotland. He hosts Café Generalissimo Open Mic, is a member of Beardo Bards of the Bardo, painter, sculptor, gardener, and culinary genius.
Introduction Everything I Think Is All In My Mind: Poetry Concerning The Human Mind is the culmination of nearly 30 years of writing. It discusses my decades long battle with chemical depression and anxiety. The collection also covers human emotions and behaviors like anger, confusion, forgiveness, kindness, bullying, and gaslighting.
We are all made of blood, skin, and bones. There is no such thing as a perfect person. Our faults and the faults of the people we love exist and are part of the package we accept when we enter relationships with each other.
My poetry can be serious, silly, and even surreal but I hope straightforward and accessible. I believe poetry can be communication as well as artistic expression. The human mind is a place that makes decisions and guides emotions, and all of us have one to use as we wish.
