After taking a hard fall in a construction accident, Christopher Black ends up in intensive care, barely hanging onto life and the prognosis is not good. He is visited by his best friend Travis, and he tells his old buddy that he may not make it and then asks him to make a promise, that he will lead a great life if he doesn’t pull through. Christopher also tells him that if he dies that he will try and find a way back, and he soon expires.

Upon waking he discovers that he didn’t make it and strangely enough he is now in the body of his younger sister, Anna, a lovely young brunette. Despite wanting to have a second lease on life it wasn’t at all what he’d planned because when you become a young woman it’s quite a switch from being a guy. Returning home as Anna, she resumes managing her bookstore in the town of North Point and settles into her new life as a young woman.

None too soon, she is once again confronted with something she had never planned for, romance as a woman, and quickly learns things about herself she never knew.
