The titular character is offered to spend a nice vacation with his family at a hill station during the Indian monsoon. As soon as he reaches there, the rains, the winds start their enticing dance around the hill station. However, things take an ugly turn when he least expects. Why won't the monkeys hop on the trees in their natural habitat? Why won't the birds chirp and sing to their heart's content around the old mansion the lead character's staying in? Everything is enigmatic in a bad way. The fight against a supernatural being ensues soon after the lead character and his family moves into the old mansion for their vacation. The author perfectly captures the essence of a desperate attempt of our lead character for keeping the evil at bay that lurks into the dense woods around and his family safe.
