During the mid to late 1970s, Ezquerra enjoyed an incredible run of success that saw him establish an artistic and cultural legacy that continues to this day, co-creating Rat Pack, Major Eazy, and El Mestizo for Battle, as well as Judge Dredd for 2000 AD and Strontium Dog for Starlord.
