Even though Jon had been covered in the woman’s blood, he found he and a few others were immune to the deadly virus. Everywhere around him are dead and dying people with blood oozing from their eyes, mouth, and ears.

The CDC wants his blood to help make a vaccine. They need all of his blood. Jon fights a rogue CDC unit with the help of a sassy Artificial Intelligence controlled Jeep, his dog, and his other immune friends.

The apocalypse was horrible but being hunted for your blood was much worse.
