A tale about romance and danger, love, suspense, betrayal and the testing of one's faith. A young teacher, her heart broken by the Marine she is engaged to, has her faith tested almost to the limit when stalked by a man whom she has just recently met. However, Shannon finds that God has a better plan for her than she could ever imagine. The elementary school teacher and Rick, a Marine stationed in Afghanistan, had been engaged for quite a while and everyone expected them to marry...eventually. She feels that there will never be another man in her life like the one she's just lost. Suddenly God brings the Gunny back into the picture in a miraculous way. The only problem now is that Shannon has a stalker, who has made it his goal to have the beautiful young teacher for himself. He and his cohorts are devious and a real threat to her safety. Events weave a tapestry with the lives of all these people. Shannon's piece of the tapestry however includes a daunting path of fear and betrayal causing her to desperately cling to God's very present help in time of trouble.
