This is the second issue in the "I Can't Believe I'm Reading French" Comic Book Series. It contains the second episode of Gnomeville: Dragon!, which, in addition to being a fantasy story in comic book form in French, teaches the beginner the remaining 8 of the 20 most frequent words in French newspapers.

As with Episode 1, there is an additional article "La Question du Moment", that provides extra practise at reading the new vocabulary and phrases, as well as an easy Taxi story that revises some vocabulary introduced in Episode 1. Once again there is a crossword and a song for extra practice, and a language summary.

The Gnomeville story in Episode 2 has sufficient text (>95%) surrounding new vocabulary to provide the learner with practice at guessing the meaning of new words through their context, while still providing the gloss support for checking.

Where Episode 1 is arguably the easiest reading book in French for those with an English speaking background, Episode 2 is the second easiest.
