Lucius Albus Longius, son of Otto, Knight of Rome, has resigned his army commission and returned to his home on the family estate in Luca, Italia. He sees his future as that of a prosperous provincial citizen, managing his lands and financial interests but above all living a rewarding family life with his wife, two sons and parents in law with whom he has become close.
