Upon realizing that they only have two years left in high school, geeky wallflower Bettie and her friends, the artistic Gayle and the rebellious Annie, make the Wildest Dreams list—a list of everything they hope to do before high school ends. As they set out to complete the list, they meet twins Ryan and James, who bring several twists to their year. Through love triangles, forbidden relationships, family troubles, and awakened sexualities, these three friends try to navigate junior high and deal with the complexities of their coming of age.
