A movie scriptwriter decides to work on the script for a new noir thriller. He rents a bungalow near the beach and takes his cook, his secretary / girlfriend and his dog with him to help him out. After spending the first night peacefully, he is woken up the next day morning by the dying moans of his dog. When he gets out to see what has happened he is not able to find his dog. But he finds his cook's dead body in the bushes. His girlfriend faints on seeing that. He goes into the house to get some water but when he comes back his girlfriend is missing and so is the cook's dead body. The mystery behind these events forms the rest of the story.
