There are many published literatures that talk about research and doing research. I believe one of the best ways to educate new researchers on what and how to do research is by “sharing” your (research) journey to them. Thesis It! does not only tell you how to do and write research proposals, but also narrates the (first hand) experiences of the authors while they were doing their own journeys.

This piece of work will allow you to feel and experience the “joy(?) of research, et al!.” You will realize the importance of “pizza pie” in the life of a researcher, in a manner it was appreciated by the authors during their up’s and down’s in their graduate studies. The possibility of being very academic in the discussions is complemented with personal sharing from the authors on the topics while not sacrificing clarity and precision.

While the topics considered by the authors are almost standard for a guide in writing research proposals, I believe that the readers will benefit from the experiences that they shared – especially the best practices they incorporated in the Chapter 6.
